Want to help Ignite Raleigh?
As you know we’re kicking off the planning process for Ignite Raleigh and so far the feedback has been great. A few people are already planning to fly to Raleigh for the event and we’ve found out via twitter that Brady Forrest, the co-founder of Ignite is from NC and he seems pretty excited about Raleigh hosting an Ignite. I think this means that our first Ignite has to rock.
brady: My birthpace is going to have an ignite! They’re just looking for a venue.
Our first agenda of course is looking for a venue and then setting a date. After that the real fun begins and we’re going to need your help. Ignite Raleigh is looking for a few volunteers, to assist in the following roles:
- Venue liaison
- Social Media PR / Media Relations
- Ignite talk coordinator
- Sponsor coordinator
- Ignite Bloggers
- Ignite Contest coordinator
- Ignite Contest MC
- Ignite Music coordinator
- Videographers
- Photographers
- Onsite Help–set up, hand out badges and drink tickets, clean up
