After opening the voting, we disabled anonymous voting to help even the playing filed for all suggested topics. Voting ends at 11:59pm ET on July 20, which is plenty of time for some of the lower ranked topics to gain momentum. Here are 9 ways to promote your Ignite Presentation before voting ends.

  1. Blog about your topic asking for votes and feedback.
  2. Email or DM your friends and family asking for votes.
  3. Tweet about your topic: Emaillogo2_normalMuddyDogCoffee: C’mon, people, vote for our talk at IgniteRaleigh! You don’t actually have to come listen (but we hope you will) http://tr.im/r4I1
  4. Leave comments on the Voting (http://voting.igniteraleigh.com/) site about how your topic is better
  5. Record a video showing how you plan to present at Ignite Raleigh or how you’re practicing for Ignite Raleigh
  6. Share your blog post or video on social networks such as Facebook
  7. Contact the organizers and say you should be a featured speaker. But we probably won’t listen.
  8. Post your topic on the Ignite Raleigh Facebook fanpage wall here: Ignite Raleigh
  9. Leave  a comment in this blog post.
  10. These are just a few examples and remember if you’re not in the top 10 today you still have time to catch up .

about me
about me Ignite events were originally conceived as technology variety shows, but they have grown into much more than that. Ignite is about ideas. Ideas can change the world. And it takes less than five minutes to spread one.
